MHADA Lottery Scheme has started registration for 1194 houses | Last date of Registration 16 December 2018
From the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), people living in Mumbai’s dream house can get the gift of Diwali. Notification has been issued from MHADA for 1194 houses just two days before Diwali. People can apply to the Department’s website for the houses.

From 14.6 lakh to 5.8 million For their application, people will have to apply on MHADA’s official website. The department has kept the flats in four categories. EWS for 20 to 35 lakh rupees, Rs. 580 crore has been earmarked for MIG and middle class people in the middle class between 35 lakh and 60 lakh rupees. These online applications can be made on the website of www.mhada.gov.in.
This time there are 63 houses for low income class (EWS), 926 for lower class (LIG), 201 houses for middle class (MIG) and 194 houses for high income group (HIV). Out of this, construction work is going on for 1191 houses.
Applications will be held from November 5 to December 10. On December 16, lotteries will be removed for the houses of MHADA. Last time, the people who had got the lottery, 36 people had returned their flat to MHADA because of the high cost. These houses have also been included for this lottery in MHADA this time.
Home of the cheapest 14.61 lakhs
Samant said that this time the lowest house is 14.61 lakhs, while the most expensive is 5.80 crore. This is all 20% less than the home market price.
