In the last two months, the plans for the construction of 3,000 houses have been completed in order to provide affordable housing to the needy, diverse income groups of the community. Mhada Divisional President Sanjay Kenekar expressed the confidence that the houses would be taken over in the next two years. He also informed that a plan has been taken to provide water for Mhada’s house at Deolai at a cost of two crores.

Three hectares of land at Nakshatrawadi was obtained by the Collector. In this phase, a plan for three thousand houses is proposed and a detailed project report (DPR) is being prepared. Mhada will soon get eight hectares of government land at Bridgewadi. Under the Prime Minister Gharkul Yojana, a project of 1.5 thousand houses will be set up. On the balance area of ​​Jalna, there is a scheme for 4 houses, and tender has been approved for the 6-house project at Padegaon. Work will begin soon. The tender for the construction of a six-house project in Hingoli is in the final phase, he added. He said that all these projects would be completed in two years. Annadaheb Shinde, Chief Executive Officer of MHADA was present on the occasion.

He mentioned that in the next year, plans are being taken to build 3,000 houses for various constituencies in Chikalthana, Waldgaon, Deolai, Ambedogai in Beed district, Latur, Tuljapur, Mahur, etc. After meeting with Mayor Nandkumar Ghodele, he was informed about various home projects taken by MHADA within the limits of Aurangabad Municipality. Accordingly, information about water supply, drainage and facilities for this project was also discussed.
